What are the chances ...

I just found out that there is a cool way that PHP and Apache can colorize your source code. All you need to do is rename your php file with a '.phps' extension. If the Apache config file has the following directive:

AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

the you will see your code colorized in your browser.

F2S apparently doesn't have Apache set up with the above-mentioned config directive for Apache.

So, what do you think the chances are of them granting my request if I were to ask them to alter the Apache config file?

A long time ago this was enabled, but not anymore, and I can't see them changing it either.

Re: What are the chances ...

Thanks, Justin and Chaz.

So, let me guess, they don't have that directive anymore b/c if it were enabled it might impact the speed of the web server?

It's not like I need this directive terribly, but it would save me from having to use the PHP highlight_file().

Regards,
