New to FTP ,Mac user
Is there a Mac user equivalent of the Frontpage tutorial?.
Using Cyberduck, OneButton FTP or Fugu?. I have been trying to gain access to web space using those three programs without any success... I guess I am introducing my FTP details incorrectly. Not sure. Any help would be great. Many thanks,

I have been playing with those applications for some time now.
These are the responses. Cyberducky: Login failed TRANSMIT: login incorrect One Button FTP: 220: ATLAS FTP server USER username 331: Please specify the password. PASS xxx 530: Login incorrect. I have even tried with the fishy one, Fugu, with no success. This are the details I enter in One Button FTP, which are pretty much the same in all app : Name: Username Server:ftp.domain.net Dock:21 Username:username Password:Password ha, ha... that sounds stupid but I wanna provide accurate info. Seems to me like it fails when hitting the password, I changed several times, and still no success. ??? Any enlightened master out there? |

The username should be in the format username@domain.net. You can find it in your members area under Your Website Details -> View FTP & Site Details and it's listed as FTP Username. The password I think should be the same as your members area password.
