Over quota?

I have a website that shows in the members' area as having 231.24 MB used,.however when I download the entire website folder I can only see just under 4Mb of files.

I logged this with the support guys and got a most curious response

Dear Mark,

Thank you for contacting the freedom2surf Technical Support Team.

Can you please advise of your FTP password so that we can check this query out for you?
The password they are asking for is the same as my member's area password so I'm not keen to share it - any ideas why they'd need it; don't they have some sort of superuser or administrative access to the servers??

I wouldn't give them your password. They should only need to know the username/domain name for that account.

If in any doubt, fire off a pm to richard_f2s, and he'll chase it through his mysterious ways

Passwords at f2s seem to be stored in cleartext which is a worrying prospect in itself.

Regardless, I'd tell them to take a hike.

Do not give them the password, maybe just me but that sounds a typical answer from an outsourced tech support rep (sorry if I am wrong!)
