Baffled by DNS Configuration Screen and Help unhelpful!

I have received this message from F2S:

The tag for xxxxxxx.co.uk has now been changed to FREEDOM.

If all your email, web, dns etc are set up and configured via our systems then you may be ready to change the nameservers.

This can be done using the new link called "Click here to move nameservers to freedom2surf" in the "domain name details" section of the members area https://secure.freedom2surf.net.

If you do not change the nameservers using this link we will change them for you on Friday at 7pm. If you wish to avoid this consult the domain help notes in your members area before Friday.

I have read all the lengthy help material and yet when I look at the DNS Configuration screen I see:

"This should only be used by advanced users. Incorrect use can break your services."

I find the help an incomprehensible cloud of words and the warning slightly intimidating. Which server's IP Address (0004 or 0001) do I enter against which "maps to" box? Or is it enough just to press the Update button in the bottom panel? And why does this work quicker (if it does work) than pressing the Approve button? And, having in fact pressed the Update button, if I then press the Approve button will it undo the update and slow things down again? Do I still need to press the approve button in the "Your Domain Name Details section of the main Members' Area. The owner of the site is in a hurry, I have already uploaded the site's web pages, but don't want to break my services.

It must be dead easy but I can see so many possible ways of filling in the details, though I guess only one combination can be correct.

Some very specific guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hopefully - Doug

The question is what do you want to do to the name that has been transferred to freedom2surf?

If you do not wish to use it there is no need to do anything, have you bought webspace with it? If not and you want to redirect it somewhere there should be an option in the members area for that.

Clear at last. I clicked on something like "Accept" and almost immediately got an email saying the changes had been made - impressive and no need to wait till Friday evening! Clearly I made a meal of it, but the main message just to accept was obscured by the thicket of exceptions relating to redirection. I'm happy now. Many thanks, Justin.

By way of a sequel, the site is now up and running, and the IPS tag was only changed to FREEDOM this morning! Freedom to Surf has done very well.
