Dotcom Transfer Out

I am currently trying to transfer a .com registration away from F2S to another registrar. Can anyone tell me how this is supposed to work?

The F2S Domains FAQ doesn't even mention the subject and the Freedom2Support FAQ seems to be outdated now.

There is no option to do it from the Members Area apart from a "Cancel this service" button - after clicking it a screen referred me to domainadmin at F2S for "further enquiries".

I emailed domainadmin at F2S and got two automated replies (one F2S and one Pipex) which referred me back to the FAQ and Members Area. Both replies stated that the domainadmin address was no longer in use.

I need an EPP Authorization Code and it should be a simple (automated) process - so how do I get one?

I finally got the EPP code by email soon after posting here (and three days after asking for it).

Apparently the phrase "Please be advised that (domainadmin at f2s) no longer answers any sales related or customer services enquiries" does not mean that the address is no longer used.

It's just that the transfer process is undocumented, confusing and slow...

In other words they only deal with transfer related emails now and not anything else. I have no idea what goes on with the domainadmin address any more to be honest, Rachel used to deal with it until recently but does not any more as she now works for Pipex.
