Hi,

I read elsewhere on this board that there's a 100 email per day limit for the sendmail php command.

Are any emails that aren't sent put in a queue to be sent the following day or are they just ignored completely?

Hm, I don't remember that. I do remember the limit of 3,500 PER IP per day though.. Can you link us to it?

It was written in 2002, so I don't know if things have changed, but can't see any other up to date reference to it.

Thanks for the quick response. Maybe things have changed. Will find out in due course.

At the moment, the mailing list has only got 50 members, so would take two test messages to see if I hit the limit and I don't think they'd appreciate it!

Just wanted to know for future, really. See if I have to come up with a plan B. Easier to shift 50 email addresses someplace else than 5,000!

Mission Failed: I seem to remember safe mode being on on the free webserver. At least nothing reached gmail.

EDIT: - Received 11 so far. Strangely, I have number 26, but not 20-25.

Hokay, gmail blocked it in the end so I only ever got 11.

I just sent the same to my server .. and received all 150 immediately.

Then sent another few to see if i had been blocked, nope.

Apologies to f2s staff for the 5 second load increase on the box.

Actually, I ended up with 300 ... since I ran it twice in the end.
