As if the F2S takeover wasnt bad enough.
As if the F2S takeover wasnt bad enough, 123Reg is owned by Pipex too.
Unfortunately, 123Reg has my 2 domain names and after buying my latest one, I see they have the same level of customer support as F2S has now......NONE. Domain name bought 26/04/06 and to date, still not working, and still no replies to my numerous emails. What is it with Pipex Tech support. Does such a thing exist. Can anyone suggest a comany for domain names that values its customers please. Thanks, W_W. |

123-reg have been part of pipex since 2004 I believe. They were part of webfusion which was bought sometime in 2004.
These are some of the companies under the pipex "banner" now pipex (of course) webfusion host europe magic moments dedicated servers 123-reg f2s feel free to add I have a number of domains registered with 123-reg and have never had any problems. I also use ukreg.com & godaddy.com as well. |

From answers.com
The company now known as PIPEX can be traced back to RadioTel Systems Limited through a number of acquisitions and renamings.

Hi there... I'm back!
But working for a new company - UK2. Before anyone jumps on my back I am fully aware of their awful rep in the past for transfers, but they have a new MD and loads of new staff so all I'm saying is watch this space, I'm certainly excited by it as what he wants to do sounds like the old f2s to me (f2s is now completely dead by the way, only a couple of people left from the good ol' days, and why did everyone leave? because pipex/nildram couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery!) Sooooo, they'll be a new site and quite a few changes at UK2 in the next few months so this might be an option for you, plus I'll be there (though not sure whether this will be in thier favour or not ), wouldn't recomend itjust yet though until all the changes can be put into effect.Just a thought..... Hosting?
"Can anyone suggest a comany for domain names that values its customers please".
If it is hosting etc. I have been with 1 & 1 for 4 years and have had no problems. |
