Reverse DNS (probably an obvious quesion)
Having just bought a domain name (using ukreg.com) I would like to set our IP to have a reverse DNS record of that, rather than the default i-www-xxx-yyy-zzz.freedom2surf.net name.
My question is- do I literally put in the new domain name in the box provided in the reverse DNS page on the ADSL setup? Having not set this up before, I am not sure whether it needs something like 'x.x.x.x PTR example.com' or just 'example.com'. Thanks |

just the domain name itself, for example:
freedom2support.com dsl.freedom2support.com etc.
