We have now launched our TiscaliUser ADSL Broadband Availability Checker, this checker is now capable of providing you with the following information:

ADSL Enabled date
DSL Max Enabled
SDSL availability
ADSL availability at your Exchange
Distance from House to Exchange
LLU availability at your Exchange
Cable, & Wireless availability at your Exchange
21CN due date of your Exchange
Your BT Line Speed Estimation
Google Maps image of the distance from House to Exchange
And plenty of other information
The date and time

Thanks for that. Got all the info, but it said "Phone no. lookup failed". Wonder why that is.

It doesn't work properly for me either, and the layout doesn't fit in properly with my screen.

Its the same over on Kitz, so possibly something to do with the data from Sam

Yep for some reason, its reporting that on a lot of website checkers. I guess we could disable that response.

The Checker is working as intended though, and just reporting error code 4 (the message you are all reporting) that is being relayed in the API.

1280x1024

It fails on the phone number as you expected.
It also fails on the 21CN stuff reckoning it's today

On the right hand side where the skyuser blurb is the title/heading overruns into the blue border.

On the plus side, it's very pretty and provides a lot of useful info so good stuff.

Yep - that's part of the API data returns - have raised a ticket with SK to query.

You should find that that date will change everyday as there is no anticipated date of activation in the database. And so the last update to check when it would be activated is reported with today's date. (afaik)

eg 21CN due : (PSTN) Update: 20.01.2009

Interesting, because I use FF3.0.5 at 1280x1024 on Vista and it's perfectly OK for me.

Don't know what you mean about the "skyuser blurb", though.

Works fine for me on FF and 1280 * 768 - however I have spotted an issue on IE which is in the process of being sorted out for us.

The blurb bit may be the Compare packages / speedtester but possibly, although that feature is scheduled to be added to this website, to avoid the need to send you to another website. This would also allow you to keep a record of your previous speed tests against your forum account.
