Got the following message this afternoon:

Server Error in '/' Application.
Argument 'DateValue' cannot be converted to type 'Date'.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.InvalidCastException:

Doesn't appear to affect the site except maybe an advert isn't running?

I saw this error (or something very similar) where the adverts should be the other day, and it was also happening on Sky User (presumably because it uses the same script for serving ads). It went away after a while, but something isn't quite right.

oops - Missed this.

Its to do with the Ad Serving software. It is done on times, and sometime the .net fails for some reason.

I have since disabled the times, and so far so good.

The error is back again. The error suggests it's an error in the ad system code.

I have disabled all the timings now, so hopefully resolved.
