People getting database errors on the site today
A few people have been getting database errors on the site since late yesterday evening. This is because our host is performing various upgrades on the server which were meant to be finished this morning but it looks like they have run over a little.
The upgrade is about 95% complete so the occasional errors should stop soon. Load is currently a bit high on the server (presumably because of the upgrades), so that might cause pages to be a bit slower than normal. Edit: The server upgrades are now complete.

I haven't noticed but then I've not been hammering it too much today.

There weren't many people getting errors - I only got 54 database error emails total. Mostly the errors were overnight, but there were a few at 1:20pm.

I think I got 1 error last night some time when trying to access a forum topic from the front page of the site (right side recent topics link) but when I clicked back and tried again it worked the second time.
Apart from that the site was working fine for me. |
