PHP File Uploader 2.1 Released

Freedom2Support are pleased to announce the release of version 2.1 of the PHP file uploader which you can use to upload files on your freedom2surf webspace.

This version ensures that the script works on the new webserver platform recentley introduced running PHP5 of which a large number of customers have been migrated to.

There are no new features to the script from the last update, but there are bug fixes for the new platform included.

There are many exciting more updates on Freedom2Support to happen over the coming months, to co-incide with our 5th Birthday in May, and freedom2surf's 10th birthday in June.

I've just bumped the version number on the download as the script still said 2.0.

Also people shouldn't need to chmod any folders to 777 as was the case with the old Linux hosting platform because PHP is now run as a CGI, meaning PHP scripts are now run as the same user who owns the files. Things should work fine with the folder permissions 755 which is the default when you create a new folder.
