Dear Users,

Summer is now upon us, and this brings us to the Fifth edition of our quarterly website update newsletter, Freedom2Update. Which was actually due in August, but better late than never as they say!

Donate to Freedom2Support
Freedom2Support has always been run without advertisements, and will continue to do so, however due to the ever increasing costs of running Freedom2Support, it has been decided to accept donations from members of our community.

As Freedom2Support has grown the Freedom2Support Team has continued to invest in resources to improve the site, from new servers and additional bandwidth to licenses for the various scripts we use for the site over the past two and a half years.

Due to the growth of our website in the last 12 months, the cost of running Freedom2Suport has increased dramatically. Despite the increasing costs, the Freedom2Support Team has continued to invest hundreds of pounds per year into keeping the site running.

With the site now going through a rapid period of growth, we're giving users the chance to donate to us to help improve our site even more. All money donated will be put back into Freedom2Support to help make the site even better and not used for our own personal gain.

Nobody is forced in to donating, and you will not be held in lower regard if you do not donate, we're simply allowing members of our community to contribute, and make a difference to our website and be able to say 'I helped make Freedom2Support what it is today'

Anyone who donates to Freedom2Support will benefit from their actions, not only by helping in the costs of running the site, but they will also be given a mention on the special thanks section of the credits page of our site so we can show our appreciation, unless they decide to opt out of such mention.

Freedom2Support Survey
The Freedom2Support survey is nearing it's closing date. Our Survey is your unique chance to have your say on the future of Freedom2Support by answering a short questionaire about our site and the freedom2surf service. Closing date for all entrys is 16th September with the results being compiled for the middle of October and the user giving the best feedback will win a £10 Amazon Voucher

Forums Growth Continues
Since the last update, Freedom2Support hit 1,000 Members and almost 15,000 Posts on our forums, and for that I would like to thank first of all the users, for making this site the success it is, it's with your continued input, involvement and dedication to helping others that this site has developed the way it has.

Also I would like to thank my team here at Freedom2Support and the former team members who have left us for their time and efforts over the first two and a half years of our existance, who have worked tremendously hard to help users out suffering with Freedom2Surf related problems.

Thanks also go to everyone from Freedom2Surf who has been involved with this site in some way or other, from helping our users on the forums, and informing users about the site, to suggesting changes and corrections to the website, it's all very much appreciated

That just about rounds up this update, it's just left to me to thank all the visitors for their continued support of this community website, and to wish you a trouble free internet experience for the rest of 2004, where you really can exercise your Freedom2Surf.

The next issue of Freedom2Update will be released in late November 2004, in what will be the winter edition.
