Hi,
I seem to be in a bind with getting access to My Account. I became a Tiscali customer from the Screaming Net route and was able to access "My Account" using my old SN e-mail prior to Talk Talk closing off this avenue. E-mails from TT are still being sent to my SN address, but when I attempt to access "My Account" by following the embedded links using this ID, I end up in a Catch 22 situation where I can neither register from scratch as a Talk Talk customer as I am already a Tiscali customer, nor access as a SN customer and get a password reminder as I am not registered as a TT customer. I get ominous suggestions that I will have to reset the password that my router uses to connect to ADSL - I don't want to go ANYWHERE near that possibility as This will involve the TT helping to resolve the issue. Attempts to get TT help to resolve getting access to My Account send me round either a small or a large circle leaving me frustrated and upset. At the end of the day all I want to be able to do is get my MAC code so that I can choose to move to another ISP if I want to. Has anyone else found themselves in this dilemma? I fear the only solution is to complain to OFCOM, but this seems a bit excessive. ![]() Colin Beveridge |
