Delays Receiving Email

Users on our forums have been reporting delays receiving email, saying they've received no email since Friday. Users have also noticed some email delays throughout the week. There is an open incident on the Freedom2Surf System Status website about email delays, however it was last updated 9 days ago.

Users are discussing the email delays in this thread in our email forum.

Update 19th Nov 11:47am: Freedom2Surf opened an alert about this problem on their system status website earlier this morning saying the issue is now fixed and the delayed email should now begin transferring into users inboxes.

Adam,

There is a call open on their site, last updated 9 days ago when the problem first manifested itself.

I saw that, but assumed it was about a different incident of email delays and they had just forgot to close it. Bascially I couldn't really believe they had been having constant email delays for over a week

Since people are reporting it as not having received email since Friday I thought it should be treated more like a separate incident rather than a continuation of that. Since that incident on their site is over a week old, I don't think it really addresses the current situation very well and doesn't communicate the current situation with customers.

Edit: OK, I've edited the posting to mention the incident post thingy on the F2S site, and also mention people have seen delays in the week. I still think this deserves at least an update from F2S though.
