Freedom2Surf ADSL Outage

Dear Users,

Freedom2Surf appear to be having a ADSL Service outage at the present moment in time, this has left a number of users that have been disconnected, or have disconnected their computers without internet access.

We Suggest that all users that are currently connected to the service, to keep connected, as if you are disconnected, at the present moment in time there is a strong chance that you will not be able to reconnect and will be given an invalid username and password error.

If you require urgent internet access, we suggest you use the Freedom2Surf Dialup Pay As You Go access, to use it, you will need the following settings :

Telephone Number : 0845 6042079
Username : <Your Members Login Name>
Password : freedom

We Will update you with more information on this problem as soon as we get it.

We seem to have had a major power surge sometime last night here in sunny St.Albans, if the f2s user databsses are hosted at their offices then thay may be affected...

Hiya,

You can do it like that too I think, infact you can put anything for the username and password and it will still work AFAIK, but I'm just using the documentation and advice provided from F2S themselves. Although that way does work too.
