Am i the only one who seems to be charged when trying to claim their "2 free audibooks"? I've been charged £2... what gives?

Thanks for the reply, and yes you're right I didn't read the T&Cs before, reasoning that saying something's free and it's not is false advertising. But there is no mention of this hidden charge. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for replies.

There is no hidden charge. Audible debit £2 as a check against the credit card and instantly refund the money.
Please let me know if, in your case, this has not ocurred. |

So they can get ready to pump you for the subscription money. I finished my membership, but then realised that Audible only give you DRM infested media that wouldn't play on my iRiver H340 anyway, so I'd just wasted my time.
And thanks for the reply richard, as of today (a day later) they have not reimbursed me my £2. Cause for concern? I have proof as an online statement. Thanks for your replies, guys, £2 is only small but it makes me worry about further leeching off my card. |
