Ofcom, 0870 and f2s

Could this be good news on the horizon for us? El Reg reports:

i haven't read the register article but a similar article in the times this morning states that telecoms companies won't be forced to bring in these changes till early 2008

Probably not because many companies will change to 0871 numbers where they can charge up to 10p a min. I know one company that has already moved to protect the kick back that they get from 0870 now.
