that is a very clever use of wording and good luck to them on it.

The only _possible_ downside, if it even is a downside, is that everyone on extreme goes on the same pipe so if there is an influx of people on it all hammering p2p 24/7 then it's reasonable to expect that your avaialble total bandwidht is going to be restricted. If that don't bother you then fill yer boots since the IPS doesn't care what speed you get as long as they don't have to "tell" you they are restricting your speed

Fernandez's comments are quite accurate. I have something of a passing familiarity with ISP T&C and this one has some real nasty sharp edges.

For example, there are a number of statements to the effect that Turbo Solutions Internet Communications Ltd may change 'xyz' which are not further qualified in any way!

However, their biggest get-out clause is right at the beginning:-
Quote:
Turbo Solutions Internet Communications Ltd reserves the rights to change these terms at any time without notice.
This means that once you agree to the terms by becoming a customer, these open ended conditions essentially give them the right to do as they please leaving you with no recourse in law!

Yes. There are laws against it. Specifically, the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999.

But you would have to prove your case against them.

Nice Guys, eh?
