Outlook 2003

In 2003 version email alerts are ok, but.
My wife returns to her PC after a while and needs to see a nice 'alert' telling her that there is new mail.
I point out that there is an alert window that fades in & out and there will be an envelope icon in the sys tray.
Not good enough

Is there a way of creating something like there used to be that stayed on the desktop until X hit the spot.

Help

I think if she really wants something as irritating as that, there is incredimail which from what i hear is incredibly annoying when mail is delivered. Might be worth a look?

Now that thing would annoy me
I think I could point out that she will have to pay for it due to the other side of the 'free' version.
There is another called Mail Alert for Outlook by http://www.bettasoft.net/
looks ok-ish but I wonder if it screws up Outlook

Unless of course there is a reg hack
