hotmail blocking messages sent to excite domain

Anyone else have an excite.com email account?

After emailing Excite they confirmed to me this morning that hotmail are indeed blocking emails sent to the excite.com domain. Its been happening to me for approx 2 weeks and yesterday Excite were able to replicate the issue. They also confirmed that the problem is only occuring with hotmail.

Excite suggested I contact hotmail, which I have done and am waiting a response. I have told excite I am surprised with their lack of concern and suggested they they ought to be talking to hotmail given that many of their customers will be affected by this.

Would appreciate if anyone else has noticed hotmail blocking domains.

Do you get a bounce message? - At least showing why?

Theres no reason for you to contact hotmail at all, you should report the problem to Excite and they should speak with hotmail about ascertaining why they are blocked, and how to apply for removal.

It says "Delivery to the following recipients failed".

I told Excite that I'm leaving them anyway because of their attitude re this. You would think that after replicating the issue at their end they would be slightly bothered.

If you turn on headers in hotmail, can you get a bit more information from that?
