Question BT Voyager 2100

A question for any Voyager 2100 users.
I am having some problems and have emailed BT about them.
I do not have a wireless LED on, BT shows this as a fault, and I have had to re-set and re-boot after losing everything.
I also have a variable network speed of 8 - 54 Mbs.
I only have one telephone and have tried different filters.

A thing I noticed concerned the Firmware Version supplied as default.
This is 2.14.02.15_a023g1 and is shown on the BT website to be AOL only. I have never been with AOL (f2s is my first broadband)
The production Version should be 2.14.02.06.
The latest is a BETA at 2.18.01.13
So do I downgrade or go to a BETA.
And all at my risk as BT will take no responsibility.
Could anyone check for the firmware version they have please.

Hi David,

I have version 2.14.02.06. I've used it on wanadoo for about 5 months and for the past 3 weeks on f2s.

My wireless light comes and goes with no real pattern. It first went out after a couple of days and I was going to send the router back, but a quick reboot and it came back on. Performance rarely below 54.0mbps now so it makes no difference to me whether the light is on or not.

I did have problems with the free filters though. Both of the BT ones included in the pack gave a lot of noise on the line, and when one of them was connected nobody could ring in. I think I chucked them and went back to the old filters in the wanadoo startup pack.

Apart for those issues no problems so far
