So, how many of you have done house hunting with the idea in mind or actually moved home with the intent to be nearer your telephone exchange, or close to an exchange if you were moving to another area?

Funnily enough, the missus and I were driving through a lovely picturesque(sp?!?!) village last night and it was lovely, then there was a plot for sale, and it was all very nice and peachy ..
Then I remembered the liklihood of cable being ran, or the next exchange being within a decent catchment were pretty low. Suffice to say, we drove through, back to a bigger place where these critical needs can be met ... Similar needs include; Dominos Pizza, Local 24hr Tesco, & of course, several pubs in a straight line either direction of house to give variety. |

If I was moving now, forget the easy train and road access, I want to move next to the exchange, its high on my list, be as close to it as possible and preferably a smallish but still looked after exchange! Also high up on the 21st Century upgrade scheme would be nice....
Oh hang on, that sounds sort of what I am now, close to the train (live right opposite it), main road 1 mile away, with the Motorway about 30 minutes away, and I do often sync at 7 meg which aint that bad to say I am just over 1.5 miles away from the exchange and the wiring down here is very poor. Oh yeah and its 2009 for my exchange to be updated to the 21st century system, where as the nearest large town is 2010!
