Sky TV
Hopefully some of you techie type can help
ok then... the house I've moved to has a sky box (receiver), the nice chap we bought the house from left it here, we also have another sky box given to us from a friend. The thing is if I turn on the box in reception room 1 the signal from reception room 2 is lost. Please help I can't take anymore eastenders, give me men and motors

No idea mate. I know its possible, but I'm not sure whether it can be done without modification by Sky to allow two feeds?

There are two point to use sky Chaz, one in each room.
Though after further reading I *think* I may need a dual LNB. Admittedly I'm out of my depth here

You will need a twin LNB with a seperate cable from it going to each room. If you want to watch subscribed channels in either room you can't just swap your viewing card between boxes so you will need to contact Sky for a 2nd room subscription to enable this, currently an extra £10.00 per month I think.

Do Sky do "Non Subscription" cards? Only the "free to Air" channels.

As far as I know, a card is only needed to unlock ITV1. ITV2, Ch.4 and Five, the other channels should work without one. Try removing your viewing card to check exactly what is available.
