Looking after ... roughly translated to 'running down'.
I wish she'd come clean she has no clue whats happening and we're suffering. |

5 jobs since the early 1990's. Roughly one every 3 years. Did she leave them all voluntarily?
"She was headhunted in the early nineties by entrepreneur Jan Murray and became part of the founding management team of PC World. Since then she has held a host of high profile sales and management positions at leading IT companies such as Northamber, GX Networks and XO Communications. In 2004, Maria rejoined Mike Read, her previous boss from XO Communications, at Pipex, to head up the business division Pipex Network Services". |

It would appear to be part of a structured consolidation, that should, in the longer term, bring benefits to users in the increasingly competetive ISP market. And Maria is very well aware of the F2S problems - what she didn't already know, she has been told and she has offered reasonable responses. And no, I don't work for any part of the organisation - I am just a disappointed customer, but I am hopeful there will be real improvements.

one job every three years is a good sign. if you haven't done whatever it was you took a job on for within 3 years then you'll probably never do it and it's time to move on.

As mid September has now passed she MAY update the letter she sent telling us of the improvements we would have by now and what we should expect in the future.

I think so too with those boobs of hers.
really funny... She'll definitely have her hands full counting her millions, too busy to bother with F2S because at the end of the day there won't be time for us. She'll have a to-do list at the start of each day, yes let's see... Pipex business at the top, then nildram, more pipex, etc.. then F2S at the bottom, by the time the day has come to an end, there's no time to get anything new and improved done. That's why we've enjoyed such a rough ride because we are bottom of the list. To expect an improvement in quality of service now can be totally forgotten with an MD that is juggling, what is it? 4 kinds of providers with hundreds of thousands of customers. No mention of her being MD for F2S in that Nildram newsletter, of course not because Nildram won't associate themselves with F2S as they operate seperately and F2S purchase was just to close down some competition. Having such a big which should mean great company in ownership of F2S is supposed to make things even better for us the customer but that ladies and gents is a total joke as we have received the opposite and I go with my belief that F2S will eventually be run into the ground and closed with the option to migrate to pipex or nildram or migrate away. If Pipex are not making enough profit with F2S since the takeover then surely they will make a decision. |

There's no doubt in my mind that F2s is the Cinderella of the Pipex Group. However, there's equally no doubt that Pipex will sooner or later be the subject of a takeover bid, then all Pipex customers will be the Cinderella of whoever takes them over. The Pipex Executives will all get a fat payoff; nice work if you can get it and you can get it if you try!

I don't think Pipex will be bought out, I think It'll be doing the buying.
I agree though, that f2s is the underdog, and I have yet to work out why we haven't been merged/shifted onto nildram (the working platform). Last edited by kmount; 21-09-2006 at 12:54 PM. Reason: added 't' as pointed out by acidtechno. |

Oh but of course. They could probably bundle us together and do away with a portion of one of the f2s centrals.

The current f2s moving of customers on to Pipex LLU would seem to suggest this.

Not sure the Pipex Group allow voluntary migrations to their LLU.
You'd probably have to pay extra.....
