MPOA Down
Started getting dropped connections of late . Router log reports MPOA Link down .
Reconnects by itself does not require a reboot. System is ADSL filtered faceplate with a direct feed to Billion 5200 G router . Lan connection to the computer Wireless turned off . Moved to LLU sometime in Feb since when connection rock solid and excellent speed . Recent stats are Average Speed 6000. ATTN 35 SYNC averages 7616 SNR varies between 4.5 and 8.5 SNR became noticeably lower once moved to LLU Any ideas please jje |

Re: MPOA Down
Hm, MPOA, I'm getting conflicting statements over whether this suggests a sync drop to the exchange, or whether its from the exchange to f2s.
If it's from exchange <-> f2s it's a support job for them to go fix it. If it's a drop in sync, it might be worth noting down times/dates of when it occurs (or if the billion is sharp, it should log it) to see if there's a pattern forming.

Re: MPOA Down
Bah, no ntp sync so times are miles out.
I'm thinking this MPOA stuff is from the router<->exchange<->f2s which is out of your control so should be reported to f2s.

Re: MPOA Down
Update .
Customer support are claiming loss of sync due to high number of errors on the line . ( though router shows none ) . They have adjusted the profile and i will see how i go . Response from customer support was reasonable with a reply within 48 hours . Just a note to others moved to LLU my pre LLU sync was around 15 the day it moved to LLU and thereafter sync dropped to around 6 . I see no reason but the fact that i was moved to LLU to alter the sync like that . Sync now 7-0 Data Rate 7616 Speed Test 6256 kbps jje |
