So I decided to try out another ISP, which meant getting a MAC from f2s for the migration process.

I submitted a ticket to retrieve a MAC about two weeks ago, and they said it'd take the customary "5 working days" to generate one. After a week, nothing. I called up sales a week last Friday, and again after a week, nothing. How exactly do I go about getting a MAC?

It doesn't take 5 working days to generate one so I don't know why they are saying that - it can be done on the spot over the phone if they want.

Try phoning sales and tell them you want the MAC emailed now while you are on the phone (they could manage this in January when I left, so I hope the new staff can), or try sending a PM to Helen_f2s to see if she can help.

Thanks, Adam; I called Sales in the morning and they were able to generate a MAC immediately, and provide it over the phone. Now I hie me to Eclipse.
