I'm confused - I received an email from f2s today (dated: 8th Aug 2005) mentioning the following:
"We are happy to inform you that your previous ISP has consented to our migration request. Your migration is scheduled to occur on the following date: 2005-08-04 (year-month-day)." That migration date is the 4th of Aug, 4 days ago, i.e. I am being told about my planned migration date 4 days after it is supposed to have occurred!! How is this possible? Moreover my existing 2mbps BT Yahoo broadband connection still seems to be active. I tried changing my adsl modem router's settings to the new f2s settings, but it still seems to be inactive. Given that the migration date was 4 days ago - and it appears that I am still on BT Yahoo broadband, am I missing something, or does this appear to be a mistake?

Hi,
8Mbps migrations are handled in conjunction with a BT appointment (they make the switch from the BT hardware to Easynet's) unlike a regular migration which is automated. As with any appointment it's possible that it might have been missed, but if you email me or respond that email asking for an update we can chase it up for you. You'll know when the migration occurs because your modem will re-sync at your new speed. |
