RWIN settings On BT Voyager 2100

Anybody got any idea how to change them? Tried Dr TCP but the setting stays at 52560. I'm trying to change it to 51680. Tried various reboots and powering the router down.

Hi Oscar
I too have the BT Voyager 2100. Why do you need to change the settings for the RWIN?
On my routerthe wireless light is switched off, does this mean anything do you know? Does it need to be on? Both the PC & Laptop still work at the same time, but I can't remember if the light was ever on. Any advice? Sorry I can't help you on your question? Have you checked on the Voyager Home page?

The wireless connection light is on on my router. The router is connected to my PC by ethernet and wirlessly to a laptop. I was wanting to change my RWIN settings after doing the test here http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks

Generally speaking, a higher RWIN is better, so I shouldn’t worry about trying to lower it. Some additional guidance can be found at http://www.the-scream.co.uk/html/res.../adsltips.html

Your current settings can be found using http://www.netmonitor.org/tools/ttest.php

Note that your router and your PC’s all have these settings, and if the routers settings are lower than your PC, they will be the settings you see.

Then, as suggested by the post above, this web site http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks can be used to improve the performance of your ADSL connection. That said tweaking is a bit of a ‘black art’ and many dispute its real effectiveness.

Do you have this saved on your computer as a "standard text" now, Andrew?

I find my "it's more trouble than it's worth" text takes up less space!

Sorry if I've put you to any trouble in posting your "standard text" . Unfortunately it doesn't really answer the question I was asking which was how do I change the settings on this paticular router. I've searched various forums and websites and thought before I use the 50p a minute phone support one of you good people may be able to help.
