What kind of password did F2s give us?
I've just bough a D-link 504t and I'm having a few problems getting it to work. Having read a couple of threads now that were resolved by remebering the right password with this router I'm starting to doubt whether I have the right one. If f2s let us choose a password then I know I have the right one as I use the same password with a couple of variations for everything.....but if then alocated us one then I have no idea......so which is it??

Wrong password wont just affect that router but anything that needs to connect to F2s. The main issue was just in the cAsEing of the letters...
Best way to ensure the correct password is entered is to cut and paste it from the email to the config pages. THere is a change password option in your user area but i have no idea if you can change your adsl connection one..

You can change your ADSL Connection password, but it will not take effect until 9:30am the next day.

Thanks justin, going to have to give F2s a ring then.....but no one answered my question, was the password given by f2s ie a collection of numbers and letters, or did we get to pick it?

The original password for the ADSL connection was a collection of letters and numbers which they automatically generated. Also when you signed up you were asked to choose a password for your online members area. If you know your members area password then you can login yourself and change the ADSL connection password rather than getting support to do it. Under "Your ADSL Details" just click change password and the password will be changed at about 9:30am the next morning.

I got a weird one that was randomly generated that sales gave to me over the phone as I paid my first payment by cheque due to an issue with my Visa, but not sure if it's different when you sign up online.
