Very Wierd Router Issue

How's this for weird.

We have a router that has been used succesfully on a f2s account for some time.

We then opened a second account and transferred the router, changing the necessary login details. The router then stopped working. We set the router back to the old settings and it works fine. So it's then a reset to factory settings and a firmware upgrade. Still the problem persists - fine with the old settings, not with the new.

Okay - so we then assume it must be the settings - so we try them on a new router and they work perfectly.

The only way we can get the router to work is to use the original acount settings - anything else and it won't play ball.

I've never seen anything quite like this and wondered if anyone out there has encountered anything similar??!!!!

agh I had this problem (I have 2 f2s adsl lines in different locations)

I think their routers must store the mac address -- i put a mail into support but never got a reply -- try plugging it in and going away for a couple of days it it might fix itself
