Peer to peer file sharing will come back as soon as the new pipe is installed, say F2S. It's worth noting that they've only blocked KaZaa and E-Donkey, so you can still use others, like WinMX.

I personally think that changing ISP's now would be asking for trouble. Firstly everyother ISP will have contention issues at some point, if we get it out the way now & show F2S that we don't like it, it should never happen again .

Secondly BT wholesale are very likely to mess up somewhere along the line causing extra delay and leaving you with no ADSL at all .

Giving P2P back before the connection is ready would be suicide for F2S. The network would be jammed, their support would be jammed and, most of all, no one would be happy.

I'm not saying F2S are blameless in anyway. In my opinion they should have seen this comming and acted. We now have to wait.

Most of all don't make a rush decision on what you are going to do, that would be fatal.

Have you tried your p2p program lately :S
I use WinMx as its been working for the last week. Downloading and uploading no problem at all.....
Some peeps say Kazza is working but if i try it will connect, search and find files it seems to stall on downloads saying "needs other sources"

Go on give it a try you might be suprised...

Kazza works fine here. It takes about 10-15 mins for it to connect. After that it is service as usual, except on some downloads it does say it needs more sources, although that could actually be the case. I have downloaded several hundred meg on there last week so it certainly is working for me at least.
