Better late than never...

Got an email from Opal today who are - apparently - now the owners of F2S. Nice of them to let me know, given how long ago the takeover was.

"You may have heard that the residential side of our business has recently been re-branded to TalkTalk following the acquisition of the Tiscali Group in July 2009.
We’d like to put at rest any worries that you may have over the future of your relationship with Freedom2Surf."

Worries like why it's taken SIX MONTHS to start communicating with the customer base, perhaps?

Some how I'm not filled with confidence.

Because usually the offical takeover and announcements, come a few months after the initial phases. A company i used to work for was sold to another company in early 2009. However, none of the employees were actually transferred to this new company until Jan 2010. Same with the product rebranding. it's just how corporate takeovers work, and the red tape they need to sort out.
