Migrate to Talk Talk!
I've just signed up for LLU connection with talk talk and just discovered that they took over f2s previously. Can anyone tell me if I will be able to keep my existing email addresses with 'new' sp and whether router will need replaced (currently Speedtouch 585) - does LLU change equipment requirements??
Sorry if I am asking the obvious. Cheers Dave

Re: Migrate to Talk Talk!
Chances are no on the email address because they are trading as separate companies at this time, and that router will be fine; do you know which version it is? v5 or v6 I think are the most common.

Re: Migrate to Talk Talk!
That's what I thought - but hoped to keed email addresses as there's so much hassle changing log in's etc.
Not sure on router version -its running software 6.1.4.3 if that is any indication. Thanks for your help.

Re: Migrate to Talk Talk!
Hi Dave,
I googled "speedtouch+585+6.1.4.3" and all of the results say v6 so that's good to know. I would really urge you to either move your email to something like Gmail, or buy a domain (few pounds a year) and host it at gmail so you can retain the same email address between ISPs should you move again. I did this some years back and have not looked back despite moving ISP and house!

Re: Migrate to Talk Talk!
Thanks for the info Kim. Changing email addys is only reason I've clung to f2s for so long! Guess I'll just have to set up gmail, or something else, and sort it out properly.

Re: Migrate to Talk Talk!
I would fella, for the sake of a fiver a year or so for a cheap domain, host it on googleapps for free and job done, no more problems!: )

Re: Migrate to Talk Talk!
The only way to keep your F2S email addresses is to have a billable service on your account like a domain....
