I just tried a test email and it arrived pretty quickly, so it seems to be working now.

Very reassuring ... ! ps ... I think maybe the various servers may have got indigestion as I was forwarding 5269 emails .... the first attempt had all of them as attachments so was probably rather big! Eventually I used the TB export facility onto my external HDD ..
