Help needed with mail and domain setting

Hi everyone. Just migrated to Newnet cos I couldnt put up with F2S anymore. I bought my domain name from F2S which points to my free webspace and I also run my own mailserver with settings I got from this forum. Now I'll like to do the same thing with Newnet i.e keep my mailserver and also have my domain name point to my free webspace on Newnet. I will appreciate it if there is any Newnet customer out there that has mastered there powerhost control panel please guide me in configuring these setting. Thanks

I have. Just putting it here also cos I believe the new members of Newnet are also former F2S customers, and from the support I've had so far on this forum from knowledgeable people, it doesnt hurt to ask.

Not wanting to start another thread, let me rephrase my part of my question. Is it possible to use F2S redirect service to point my domain name to my Newnet free webspace?

Yeah you can do that, and its probably the easiest since you already have the MX records setup on the F2S DNS servers. If you just change the web redirect from username.f2s.com to username.nadsl.net it should work fine.

For the mail setting it should just be like your setup for your home mail server on F2S. Assuming you are using the F2S DNS servers, you just need to create a MX record that points to a subdomain that points to your home mail server IP. With newnet your router IP address has a reverse DNS entry of username-gw.adsl.newnet.co.uk. So if your mailing server is running on the router IP address (eg using port forwarding) then just set your MX record to username-gw.adsl.newnet.co.uk.
