Logon problem

Hi,

Every time my friend goes into OE to retrieve his mail, a box pops up requesting him to enter his username and password despite repeatedly doing so.

I have set up his mail account manually and thro the auto setting through these forums but the result is the same, up pops the box.

I've done a search but cannot find an answer.

Be very grateful if someone would point me in the right direction.

Thanks for reply Tom, but we're talking about 4\5 days unfortunately. I would suggest he gives CS a ring but from what I've read they seem to be rather busy, and I'm hoping I can get it sorted for him.

John.

Or maybe, just changing the password on the e-mail account. those changes take places immediately.

How many F2s mail accounts are you trying to pick up... I use outlook, and used to have 5 or 6 entries to collect various email addys from F2s. I always used to get that box....
I only way i found to stop it was to have less F2s entries... I guess its a Microsoft problem, in that it will only take so many entries, or a F2s one in that it blocks multiple attempts at logins for security.

The chappie I am trying to help has just tried to setup his first mail account, and I only had the one until I tried to set up another.

Must be an answer somewhere, it must be something simple.

Ta for input.
