picking up anyname@mydomain

When I set up the email for my own domain, a few years ago, I created an email name of unknown. This was created to be a catch all email account, and that's exactly what it does.
However, I've tried to do this again for another domain, but either I've missed something or F2S don't support this now? Any ideas how to set up a catch all email account?

Hi All!

There is not an option for this in the members area but if you have a domain eg. mydomain.com (ie not the free subdomain eg. mydomain.f2s.com) then call our technical support department and they can setup a "catchall" for you.

I can live without it, although it would be a nice facility. I think calling the subdomains "free" is a bit disingenuous though, given that we pay for the f2s service which (necessarily) includes a subdomain for email purposes. I suspect f2s would have far fewer subscribers if it didn't offer such an email service.

More important to me is that the annoying "Everybody needs freedom2surf" banner is removed from email sent through the webmail service (after all, f2s is not a free service, so why should we be obliged to support its advertising?), and that f2s introduce the ability to stiputate a "reply to" email address when using that service.

A lot of ISP's don't offer subdomains at all for email some of them just offer @ispname.com, with f2s you have the choice of @f2s.com or @username.f2s.com, even fewer offer catch-all addresses.

That has been gone for a few weeks now.

OK, thanks. I don't remember contacting technical when I set my catch all, but it was a couple of years or so ago now.
It'd be nice if an email name of 'unknown' automatically became your domain's catch all address. Can you pop that in your suggestion box?

Really? I assumed it would be widespread. I stand corrected

Great!

All I need now is a customisable "reply to" option for emails sent by webmail from each email account, and I will have everything I desire, save for a catchall address which would be useful but not vital.

has anything changed there?
I am in austria so I cannot call, but I would appreciate a catch all address, and while the site says it is offers it cannot be found in my members area.

If you raise a ticket on their website I would think they should be able to do it.
