Anybody else get this problem when logging onto webmail.freedom2surf.net?
Same happens whether I log on at home or from work.. An age at the welcome to horde screen after I enter my username and password..

I have found webmail to be very slow over the past few weeks both logging in from F2S DSL and from various other net connections.
Seems to be better today though. |

Yeah it can just sit there for ages sometimes when you click login after putting in the username and password. Bloody annoying, slow (not to mention pants) webmail was the main reason I left ntlworld. Come on f2s - sort it out.
p.s. please accept my appologies if it is already sorted. But I can't believe we are the only 4 people suffering. |

Just logged in and it went OK for me. Is there any particular time of day it's happening?

Hi Stephen, not that I have noticed. I use it anytime between 6am and 2am! It has been a pain for the past few weeks but today (I have been on most of the day) it has been fine.
I'll update this thread if it happens again. |

Well, I've just logged in at 7:30pm.. Took me three attempts..
It may be an idea for everyone who's having problems to log the time and which ISP you're using so we can approach f2s. I use the webmail service quite alot during the day and it's getting frustrating. |

Fine for me as per usual, though I did have the problem a few months back but not since. I know the problem only started since webmail was being served over SSL,
However Before it was over SSL I remember someone saying from Tech Support when someone asked why it wasn't over SSL said it was because of issues like this.

I get this problem most times I try to use webmail, either on my f2s adsl connection or from my work ISP.
It sits on the perform maintenance screen for and absolute age before eventually going in. |

Never had problems on the 'performing maintenance' screen myself, if it'll hang for me normally it'll be before it gets that far.
